Car park restoration on Broad Lane

The newly improved car park to the north of Broad Lane.

The Bucklebury Estate has been working on the car parking areas on Broad Lane to make them safer and suitable for increased traffic.

The original surface has been cleared of soil and other detritus and has been extended to allow cars to park end-on, increasing their capacity with minimum loss of habitat.

The vegetation has been cleared from alongside the road to make them more visible and hopefully deter undesirable activities.

A new track has been installed, joining up the car park to the north of Broad Lane with the Winchcombe Way, the main track running through this part of the common.
